Starting Your Career Journey

Every journey has a starting point, and places where decisions can change. To help map out your own journey, begin by asking yourself the following questions:
 

Question 1: Have you identified target industries or job titles?

If you are not sure what kinds of industries or employers or jobs might interest you, explore our career development resources to help you decide.
 

Question 2:  Do you have a current, up-to-date resume (reviewed within the last six months)? 

If you have not created or updated your resume or your format might not be readable by online applications systems, our resume resources can get you started.
 

Question 3:  Do you have a complete career toolkit (Cover Letter, LinkedIn profile, Mentor)?

If you have not had the time to develop a personal brand on your LinkedIn profile or find someone who can provide you with career insights and advice, explore our career toolkit resources.
 

Question 4:  Have you identified a job or internship in your field of interest?
